- Underwent a wide-body conversion in November 1987 by Porsche specialists Dage Motorsport, using genuine steel Porsche arches (non-M491).
- Fitted with a refurbished Targa hood, professionally serviced in 2024.

This 1979 Porsche 911 SC Targa is a beautifully presented, expertly upgraded example of one of the most desirable air-cooled classics. With its wide body conversion, extensive history, tasteful performance upgrades, and iconic styling, it’s the ultimate classic sports car – and now it can be won in our exclusive competition.

Engine: 3.0-litre flat-six engine, subject to a top-end rebuild at 101,000 miles (£4,900), pulling strongly with no leaks. Now showing 120,000 miles.
Transmission: 5-speed manual gearbox, delivering the classic rear-engined 911 driving experience.
Suspension:
Upgraded with Bilstein suspension, offering sharper handling and a composed ride.
Turbo tie rods fitted for improved steering precision.
Brakes:
New calipers, discs, and pads all round, providing excellent stopping power.
Exhaust:
Upgraded with a Dansk sport exhaust and sport bypass silencer, enhancing both performance and sound.
Wheels & Tyres:
Fitted with Bridgestone S02 tyres – 245 rear / 225 front, for enhanced grip.
Interior:
Finished with a Prototipo steering wheel for a motorsport-inspired feel.
Maintenance:
Serviced by Porsche up to 85,000 miles, and by marque specialists thereafter.
Recent full mechanical refurbishment at 117,000 miles, including replacement of all pipes and hoses.
