1962 BSA Rocket Gold Star – Clubman Spec | RRT2 Gearbox | Genuine Goldie Provenance
Here’s your chance to own a truly iconic piece of British motorcycling history — a 1962 BSA Rocket Gold Star in full Clubman specification.
Imported from the US and first restored in 1992, this machine was fitted with all the correct Clubman upgrades, including the desirable RRT2 close-ratio gearbox, 190mm full-width front drum brake, rev counter, and alloy rims. The Gold Star Owners Club confirmed its authenticity at the time of that restoration, making this a genuine Rocket Gold Star with provenance.
In 2025, it was sympathetically restored once more, retaining all those Clubman additions while keeping the spirit and character of the original bike intact. Today, it runs and pulls strongly in all gears, delivering the kind of raw, engaging ride that made the Rocket Gold Star a legend.
With its combination of Gold Star racing pedigree and Rocket twin performance, this Clubman-spec machine represents the very best of BSA’s golden era — a rare opportunity to win a truly special motorcycle.
A genuine 1962 BSA Rocket Gold Star in Clubman spec — fitted with RRT2 gearbox, 190mm front drum brake, alloy rims, and all the right period parts. Verified by the Gold Star Owners Club and fully restored again in 2025.
