An outstanding example of Yamaha’s legendary adventure machine, this 1983 XT600 Ténéré 34L was imported from South Africa in 2022 and has since been the subject of a comprehensive nut and bolt restoration, completed in 2024. The restoration was carried out to a very high standard and included a freshly painted frame, a full engine rebuild, suspension, wheels, and extensive detailing throughout.

The XT600 Ténéré takes its name from the Ténéré Desert, one of the harshest environments crossed by Paris–Dakar Rally competitors, and this bike perfectly reflects that tough, go-anywhere DNA. Finished in the iconic red and white colour scheme with gold rims and gold handlebars, it presents beautifully and remains in fantastic condition.

Backed up by a huge history file with receipts totalling over £10,000, this is without doubt one of the finest XT600 Ténérés we have had.
