Prize details
A stunning example of the iconic Yamaha RD350LC, this 1982 model has just been fully restored to a very high standard and finished in the instantly recognisable black and red “Mars Bar” colour scheme. To complete the look, the wheels have been painted gold, giving the bike a striking and aggressive period appearance.
The restoration has been carried out with care and attention to detail, and the bike presents beautifully throughout. It is currently running on pre-mix and, as with any fresh rebuild, will require a few hundred miles of gentle running-in before full enjoyment.
Fitted with Micron exhausts, it sounds exactly as an RD350LC should—crisp, sharp, and unmistakably two-stroke. A proper LC that looks every bit as good as it rides.
Why this prize is special
The Yamaha RD350LC is one of the most legendary two-strokes ever built, and this freshly restored example captures everything enthusiasts love about them. With its classic Mars Bar livery, gold wheels, and Micron pipes, it’s a real head-turner that delivers the sights, sounds, and character only an LC can.
A top example that’s ready to be run in, enjoyed, and admired—classic two-stroke motoring at its best.
