Prize details
A stunning example of the Kawasaki KH400 Mach II, this 1976 model has been fully restored and finished in the striking Japanese Blue colour scheme—a Japan-only colour created as a tribute to legendary racer Kork Ballington.
The bike was imported from the USA in 2019, then carefully restored to its former glory before being UK registered in 2020. The restoration is well documented, with a comprehensive file of invoices and paperwork detailing the work carried out.
It has been fitted with brand new Higgspeed expansion chambers, which not only complement the bike visually but also give it a wonderful, crisp two-stroke crackle that perfectly suits the character of the KH400.
Showing 5,400 miles, with only around 400 miles covered on UK roads since restoration, this Mach II remains in outstanding condition throughout. It runs exactly as it should—smooth, responsive, and reliable—with no known issues.
Why this prize is special
This Kawasaki KH400 Mach II is a collector-grade classic that blends rarity, condition, and unmistakable two-stroke character. The rare Japanese Blue finish, high-quality restoration, and brand new Higgspeed pipes make this a standout example.
Whether added to a collection or enjoyed on the road, this is a properly restored, correctly sorted Mach II that looks incredible and sounds every bit as good as it should.
