Prize Details

An old-school 1978 Harley Shovelhead 1200cc chopper, built around a cone shovel motor with the right period-style hardware throughout. It’s fitted with an S&S carburettor, and the top end was rebuilt around two years ago. The build is based on a rigid Harley frame with the desirable castings, running a ratchet top box with hand clutch and a tidy closed primary setup—exactly the sort of spec you’d expect on a traditional chopper. Finished with a black Wassell tank with a bit of moulding detail, Bates-style seat and p-pad, and Bates-style lighting, it has the classic look without being overcomplicated. It’s also now tax and MOT exempt.
