Prize details

A genuine, clean, and highly original example of one of the most desirable 1980s two-stroke superbikes ever produced. This 1984 Yamaha RZV500R is the Japanese-market, aluminium-frame version, widely regarded as the ultimate specification of Yamaha’s legendary V4.

This bike presents in fantastic original condition throughout, clearly having been very well cared for. Significant recent expenditure has been made to bring it to a ready-to-ride standard, including a full specialist service, new tyres, and comprehensive mechanical checks. The engine appears to have been rebuilt in the past and has recently been inspected internally using a borescope, confirming everything is as it should be.

Imported into the UK on 01/10/2008, this is a rare opportunity to own a properly sorted and usable example of Yamaha’s halo two-stroke superbike.
