A rare and very desirable 1967 BSA A65 West Coast Hornet with matching numbers, originally shipped new to the USA via BSA Inc. West Coast and authenticated by the BSA Owners Club. A true “gentleman’s ride” that turns heads and attracts admiration wherever it goes.
Repatriated to the UK in 2013 from Spokane, Washington State, this is a properly special Hornet with some great original-spec touches—most notably the larger original oil tank (around 2 pints more than a standard A65), plus original Jones WM3 rims front and rear and a quick-detach rear wheel setup that allows removal while leaving the sprocket and chain in place.
Regularly used until 2020, it’s described as pulling “like a train” and—with its straight-through pipes—delivering an incredible soundtrack. More recently it’s been treated to a top-end rebuild including new pistons, valves and guides, and it comes with a huge amount of additional parts, upgrades, and original items included in the sale.
A properly collectible, matching-numbers West Coast Hornet with documented US origins and BSA Owners Club authentication—enhanced with the right upgrades, strong mechanical work, and a fantastic package of original parts and manuals.
A rare chance to own a standout A65 that’s equally at home as a showpiece or a charismatic, usable classic with serious presence and sound.
