This 2000s-era bottling of Glenfarclas 15 Year Old captures a revered period in the distillery’s history, before packaging and slight style tweaks in more recent years. Known for its sherry cask maturation and higher-than-average strength (46%), this vintage expression retains all the hallmarks of Glenfarclas’s rich Speyside tradition — with many collectors favouring its fuller, slightly more robust profile compared to newer releases.
Matured exclusively in Oloroso sherry casks, it offers classic Glenfarclas depth: fruitcake, spice, oak, and nuttiness, with a long and warming finish. Bottled without chill filtration or added colour, it’s an authentic example of traditional Speyside whisky craftsmanship from one of the last truly independent, family-owned distilleries in Scotland.
