We always aim to run our competitions smoothly and on schedule, but sometimes things happen that are outside of our control. Recently, our Meta ad account was suspended for review without any clear reason. We were told this would be resolved within 2 days, but it has now been 4 days and the account has still not been reinstated.
We really did not want to have to do this, however without our ads running, we would not even be able to cover the cost of the prizes. Going ahead without our ad account would also impact the quality of future competitions, and we’re committed to keeping our prizes and experiences at the highest standard.
For this reason, we have made the decision to pause all current competitions until our ad account is active again. The number of days the competitions are paused will be added back once they resume, meaning they will still run for their full intended duration with the same amount of advertising time.
Should the ad account be reinstated at any point, the competitions will be unfrozen immediately and everything will run as normal, just with amended draw dates to reflect the pause.
To be clear — this is not an extension of the competitions. While paused, the competitions will be completely frozen, and no entries will be accepted. When we unfreeze them, they will simply continue from where they left off.
We appreciate your understanding and support, and we look forward to getting back up and running as soon as possible.
