Let me introduce you to Tim F. from Broadstone.

Tim’s story is proof that these competitions are real, and winning is everything you’d imagine—and more.

Back in April, Tim entered our competition for a 1956 Triton Café Racer 650cc + £500 in cash.

He picked up ticket #7460, thinking Why not give it a go?

There were 9999 tickets available for sale, 7369 were sold.

Then the unexpected happened.

Tim won!

In disbelief, he realized he’d just won his dream bike.

One of the best parts of my job is calling people to tell them they’ve won. You can practically hear the smile spreading across their face, even through the phone.

Moments like that are exactly why I love what I do.

A bit later, the Triton arrived at Tim’s door.

He was, as you’d expect, absolutely thrilled.

…and it didn’t take long for his wife to claim the £500 cash prize for herself! 🤣

When I followed up with Tim recently, I was curious about what he’d been up to with the bike.

Turns out, he’s not just letting it gather dust in his garage.

That very evening, he rode the Triton down to a local bike meet at Poole Quay.

Here’s what he had to say about that night:

“The bike got a lot of attention! Even the hardened bikers were shocked when I told them I’d just won it.

It was an amazing feeling!”

This is what I love to hear—these bikes aren’t just stunning to look at. They’re conversation starters, attention grabbers, and dream machines all rolled into one.

Tim’s journey didn’t stop there.

In late May, he participated in the Bournemouth & Poole Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, raising funds for men’s health.

“The bike was a delight to ride, and I’m really proud of it. I felt so lucky to have won such a fantastic machine,” Tim shared with me.

Of course, no adventure comes without a few hiccups.

During the ride, the clutch overheated due to the slow pace, and Tim had to pull over to let it cool down.

But did that ruin the experience?

Not a chance.

“That’s all part of the adventure!” Tim said.

His story perfectly captures what it feels like to win—pure excitement, pride, and the joy of owning a classic bike that turns heads wherever it goes.
